Chef Sharon Li
With its unique setting, in an area known for great food, and perhaps the most beautiful and inclusive views in the entire Bay Area, Assemble Restaurant has been wowing its patrons since it opened in February 2013. Located next to the spectacular Craneway Pavilion and adjacent to the Rosie the Riveter Visitor’s Center in the fabulously reimaged Richmond shipyards, Assemble is serving food with a focus on locality and seasonality. Starting in the early summer of 2019, Chef Sharon Li left Napa and took the helm at Assemble with a refined background in seasonality and sustainability, fermentation and pickling techniques, and a simplistic, less-is-more approach to cooking.
Whether you drive out on South Harbor Way or hike or bike along the Richmond-Marina Bay Trail, you can experience the sweeping vistas that extend from the East Bay Hills to the city of San Francisco during the day for lunch or brunch. Either way, it’s a great place to assemble with friends and family.
